Job description

We re looking for a Service Technician to join a well-established technical solutions provider in Salford, supporting their growing customer base across the UK and beyond.

This role offers the chance to work as part of a close-knit technical team, supporting the testing, service, and maintenance of specialist equipment used across a range of industries.

What s on offer?

• GBP27,000 - GBP29,000 per year
• Monday Thursday 7:00am 3:30pm or 8:00am 4:30pm
• Friday 7:00am 2:15pm or 8:00am 3:15pm
• 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Service Technician?

• Diagnosing and repairing faults across a wide product range
• Reading and interpreting technical schematics and assembly drawings
• Performing soldering and other component-level repair tasks
• Interacting directly with customers, providing technical support and exceptional service
• Recording service jobs and repair details using the internal ERP system
• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with goods in/out and spare parts picking

What do you need?

• A mechanical/electrical background
• Soldering experience, including small components
• Good computer literacy and experience working with internal systems
