Up to £35,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Monday – Friday (8:30 am‑6 pm) with rota Saturdays 9 am‑4 pm

Our client is an independent service and repair garage based in Ilford, dedicated to providing high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs across all makes and models. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Car Service Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about cars, has a willingness to learn, and is looking to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on all vehicle makes and models to a high standard.
• Ensuring high‑quality standards are maintained in all aspects of work.
• Assisting in customer interactions and ensuring the smooth completion of jobs within specified time scales.
• Assisting with the movement and parking of cars around the garage.
• Supporting the team in daily operations and contributing to the overall smooth running of the workshop.

Your Background & Skill

• 1–2 years minimum experience as a Car Service Technician or similar role.
• Vehicle Service & Maintenance qualifications are preferred but not a must.
• Having your own tools is preferred but not a must as they can help you grow your tool box.
• A driving licence is very much preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
