Job summary

A well-established transport services company in Bilsthorpe CP is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Technician for a full-time role. This position involves working in a warm workshop maintaining a fleet of ambulances and providing repairs and servicing. The ideal candidate will have at least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience, own tools, and a driving license. Job description

Come and join B.N.Gibson, a well-established company providing transport services for more than 40 years. You will be working as part of a team in a full time, permanent post. We maintain a fleet of approximately 70 vehicles, mainly Transit and Peugeot classified as ambulances. This role reports into our Workshop Manager with a competitive salary based on relevant experience.

Key Skills Required
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 or above (Vehicle Maintenance & Repair - Light Vehicle) or time served with at least 5 years in active role.
  • Ability to work well within a team and alone with effective communication to our crews.
  • Light commercial vehicle experience preferred but not essential as training can be given to the right candidate.
  • Must have own tools and experience in aspects of the garage trade e.g. tyres, servicing, repairs.
  • Driving license essential.
