Job summary

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage services supporting adults with complex physical and health care needs, ensuring the delivery of person-centred, high-quality care.
  • Oversee CQC compliance, audits, and continuous improvement plans.
  • Manage and support Service Leads, Team Leaders, and frontline staff to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Drive service growth, occupancy, and performance across designated regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure safe staffing levels, effective rotas, and budget control.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns in line with policy.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, independence, and inclusion for all individuals supported.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a management role within complex physical disability, clinical, or healthcare services.
  • Proven experience managing CQC-registered services with a Good or Outstanding rating.
  • Hold or be working towards NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Northwest and Yorkshire.
Desirable
  • Nursing or clinical background (RGN, RMN, or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, or neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge of complex care funding and multi-agency working.
