A leading reproductive healthcare provider in Norwich is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality abortion care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a background in managing clinical teams. Due to the upcoming retirement of the current manager, BPAS are looking for a Service Manager (we call them Treatment Unit Manager's here!) to lead our reproductive health services in our Norwich clinic. To support a smooth transition, there will be a significant handover period, providing valuable insight into the service.
It doesn't matter if you have a commercial, corporate, or clinical background, you'll be able to use your leadership & management skills to ensure BPAS services are delivered effectively.
The role:
You'll be responsible for ensuring the provision of a responsive termination of pregnancy service that is high quality and client-focused by motivating, engaging, & managing clinical & non-clinical staff effectively.
You'll actively manage capacity by utilising your team to ensure appointment templates are aligned to facilitate this. You'll also work to ensure the services provided in your clinic, including a surgical termination service, maintain high standards of client care in line with BPAS policies & procedures.
You will also maintain positive relationships with our external stakeholders including local commissioners and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) ensuring the unit is managed in line with regulatory requirements.

We work mainly on behalf of the NHS across the country providing abortion, contraception, STI testing & treatment. We specialise in evidence-based, not-for-profit care reproductive healthcare.
