Service Engineer (Smoke Ventilation Systems) – London

Company Overview

We are a market‑leading company in the smoke ventilation industry with a strong focus on training and clear progression paths. As a Service Engineer you will commission mechanical extract systems and other smoke ventilation systems, working closely with a skilled team to deliver high‑quality service across London and the Southeast.

Responsibilities
  • Wire, fix & commission a range of smoke ventilation systems from manufacturers such as Colt, SCS and FDS
  • Act with high levels of professionalism and confidentiality in this customer‑facing position
  • Manage small and large installations and ensure the assigned team are working to the correct design and standards per drawings provided
  • Understand and apply the legislation and BS that apply to the industry
  • Ensure all systems can be fully operated on all listed conditions to eliminate the possibility of failure to comply
  • Majority of projects in London and the Southeast but national travel and lodging required
Qualifications
  • NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent
  • Ventilation experience
