Account Manager – Technology Development Services
Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days in office)
£35,000 – £50,000 + Quarterly Bonus
We’re looking for a commercially savvy Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of long-term, high-value technology partnerships worth over £8m in annual revenue. You’ll be at the heart of our “land and expand” strategy – deepening client relationships, uncovering new opportunities, securing renewals, and driving rate increases.
This is not a reactive role. You’ll be on the front foot with clients, engaging senior technology leaders (CTOs, Heads of Software Engineering) to understand their journey, identify upcoming needs, and bring the right internal specialists into the conversation at the right time.
You’ll also work closely with our agile delivery teams, project managers, and technical experts to ensure smooth, high-quality delivery. You’ll be both the client’s voice internally and the team’s voice externally, ensuring alignment, clarity, and mutual success.
Managing and growing 7–8 enterprise client partnerships
Building deep, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders
Proactively identifying growth opportunities and securing renewals/rate uplifts
Translating client briefs into clear requirements, bringing in presales support as needed
Balancing multiple priorities while keeping delivery on track
Attending client meetings (UK-based) and visiting our delivery teams in Eastern Europe every 2 months
Proven account management track record – ideally in tech, software consultancy, or recruitment
Experience expanding accounts and managing enterprise clients
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Confident in conversations with senior technical contacts
Commercially aware, able to spot and convert opportunities
Highly organised, with exceptional listening and prioritisation skills
Culturally aware and empathetic communicator
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 basic (DOE)
Bonus: Quarterly growth-based bonuses (£5–6k in year 1, £10–12k in year 2, £20k+ from year 3)
Hybrid working – Manchester office 2 days per week
International travel to meet delivery teams (every 2 months)
Opportunity to work on long-term partnerships with some of the UK’s most recognisable brands
If you thrive on relationship building, commercial growth, and bridging the gap between clients and delivery teams, we’d love to hear from you.
