Our client, a leading organisation with a fantastic team culture, is seeking a Service Coordinator to join their dynamic team. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers and ensuring the efficient operation of the service department.

What's in it for you?

  • Permanent contract with our client
  • Full-time working pattern - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • 25 days holiday allowance, plus bank holidays

Responsibilities include:

  • Manning the service department phone lines, providing telephone support to customers
  • Managing and organising engineers' diaries
  • Schedule and plan engineers' workload for breakdowns, return visits, and other ad-hoc visits
  • Logging machine breakdowns and effectively handling customer queries
  • Coordinate with service engineers to resolve any field issues and provide necessary information
  • Communicate with suppliers and manage orders for parts
  • Provide basic technical support to customers
  • Assist in planning and organisation of pre-planned preventive maintenance calls and visits

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
