Are you passionate about transforming social care through digital innovation? We re looking for a technically skilled and values-driven Service and Application Owner to support the development and optimisation of our core systems supporting Adult Social Care. This is a pivotal role within our Digital, Data and Technology team, where you ll be responsible for ensuring our application platforms are robust, user-focused, and aligned with the evolving needs of social care services. As a Service and Application Owner, you will:

Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of application solutions that support frontline social care teams.
  • Work closely with service leads in Adult Social Care to ensure systems meet operational, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
  • Configure and customise applications to reflect best practice and deliver maximum value to the organisation.
  • Support the full development lifecycle of technical projects, from requirements gathering and prototyping to testing and deployment.
  • Provide support to end users and deliver training to ensure effective system adoption.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery through agile methodologies and user-centred design.

Digital, Data and Technology Team, or DDaT as it's also known is led by Steven Fry, Director of Digital and Customer Services - Steve has been voted one of the top 100 Chief Information Officers (CIO) within the UK.
