The role involves booking services, advising customers, and ensuring effective communication throughout the service process. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. This position offers a competitive salary with an OTE of up to £36,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

  • Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for customers.
  • Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling parts.
  • Liaising with Aftersales department for scheduling appointments.
  • Managing a high volume of customers and calls.
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and maintaining communication.
  • Updating customer records accurately.

Mercedes Benz of Gatwick

42 hours per week(Monday to Friday shifts on rota basis between 08:00 to 18:30 and 1 Saturday per month 08:00 to 14:00)

OTE up to £36,000 per annum(with basic up to £30,000 plus bonus)

Lookers Mercedes Benz of Gatwick is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team which consists of 5 Service Advisors, 11 Vehicle Technicians and our enthusiastic and friendly Service Manager.

With ongoing investment in the dealership to transform it into a state-of-the-art showroom, Mercedes Benz of Gatwick is the place to be. Gatwick is a state of the art dealership with exceptional working facilities.

As a Service Advisor at Mercedes-Benz, you will benefit from continuous training opportunities through our in-house brand development.

Responsibilities
  • Booking MOTs, services and other repair work for our customers
  • Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories that will benefit the customer
  • Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, based on workload and call volumes
  • Managing a high-volume of customers daily as well as telephone calls and online booking queries
  • Informing customers of turnaround times and ensuring effective communication throughout the time when a customers’ car is in the workshop
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made
Qualifications

You must have heaps of energy, a warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first class customer experience each and everytime. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily whilst being able to explain technical information in a way that is clear and concise. Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP would be an advantage, as well as having knowledge of other essential dealer systems.
