Position Overview

The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a new division in an established Consulting firm who are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant to join the team on a permanent basis. (Remote working available ideally based in Northern Ireland / Ireland) #PATT

This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful Workday HCM projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. We would love to hear from resources with expertise in HCM, UK Payroll or Absence modules.

The goal for this role is to lead the practice in a managerial capacity long term. The successful hire will have ambitions to work on strategic proposals for clients whilst establishing and building out the practice. You will still have the opportunity to remain hands on / technical from a configuration perspective and will have support of the wider company to support the delivery of projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Workday HCM implementations, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Workday HCM and Absence Management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-go-live support.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables.
Key Requirements
  • Workday HCM Certification OR UK Payroll Certification (active and verified).
  • Proven experience in Workday implementations, ideally across multiple clients or industries.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data structures.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Workday Absence Certification - Desired.
  • Experience with other Workday modules (e.g., Time Tracking & Compensation). Workday Reporting and Integration knowledge - Desired.
