A leading environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Water Quality Survey Scientist to lead water quality monitoring projects. Are you an experienced aquatic scientist looking for a role that gets you out into the aquatic environment? Do you have a passion for understanding and improving water quality in estuarine, coastal, and marine environments? Are you keen to lead impactful fieldwork and technical studies that inform sustainable water management?
We're looking for a Senior Water Quality Survey Scientist to join our growing team in the South of England (ideally within 90 minutes of Bristol). You'll work on a wide variety of estuarine and marine water quality monitoring projects, leading field programmes, data collection and analysis, and supporting project delivery for clients across the environmental and water sectors.
You’ll play a key part in designing and implementing monitoring programmes, operating and maintaining specialist field and marine equipment, and ensuring high standards of health, safety and data quality. The role also involves contributing to project management, mentoring junior staff, and engaging with clients and regulators to deliver high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.
