Job summary

A leading delivery partner in the water sector is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of multidisciplinary water and wastewater projects in the Thames region. This role offers exposure to major AMP programmes and structured professional development within a regulated environment. Responsibilities include managing design coordination, delivering projects safely and on budget, and supporting procurement activities. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and project management experience within an engineering or construction environment. Competitive salary and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Project management experience within an engineering or construction environment.
• Experience delivering engineering projects under NEC3 forms of contract.
• Background in water, wastewater, or regulated utility projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and supply chain partners.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in the delivery of water and wastewater schemes.
• Manage design coordination and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Develop, manage, and update construction programmes.
• Prepare and issue invitations to tender and produce cost-benefit analyses.
• Coordinate engineering input between designers and site teams.
