Qualifications

  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
  • Experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician in a Franchised environment.
  • Strong working experience within Diagnostic Repair.
  • Methodical problem-solving skills.

  • Diagnosing complex faults.
  • Offering expertise as a Senior Vehicle Technician and supporting colleagues.
  • Working on complex repairs.
  • Assisting newer team members with their training.
  • Working closely with the Workshop Controller.

Overview

Senior Vehicle Technician required for Automotive Business, in the Selby area. Our Client, an Automotive Volume Motor Dealer is currently seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their team of hardworking Vehicle Technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing Complex Faults
  • Offering your expertise as a Senior Vehicle Technician to colleagues and supporting them within the workshop
  • Working on Complex Repairs
  • Assisting the ‘newer’ members of the team with their training
  • Working closely with the Workshop Controller
Requirements
  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
  • Experience within a Senior Vehicle Technician position in a Franchised environment

The hours for this Senior Vehicle Technician role are a 40-hour week. You’ll have a choice to work either a 4- or 5-day working week – no weekends included!
