The Role

We're seeking a Senior Valuations Analyst to own and evolve valuation model development. This is a hands-on role where curiosity, fresh ideas, and commercial impact go hand in hand.

If you were in the role today, you'd be:

• Owning and enhancing complex credit card valuation models
• Monitoring performance, updating assumptions, and presenting insight
• Modelling new opportunities across multiple products

You'll shape credit policy, product, and pricing strategies while working closely with stakeholders across finance, product, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver valuations that assess profitability across lending products and customer vintages
• Build and refine models projecting revenue, costs, losses, and profitability
• Identify trends and insights through exploratory analysis
• Apply statistical techniques to validate assumptions
• Refresh models regularly in line with new data and conditions
• Drive automation and improvements in the valuations framework
• Analyse variances between forecast and actuals to guide strategy
• Own P&L for lending products, influencing commercial outcomes
• Communicate complex findings clearly to all audiences

Requirements

Essential

• Degree in Maths, Stats, Finance, Business, or related field
• 3+ years' experience in valuations, credit, or corporate finance
• Advanced Excel modelling and strong SQL skills
• Proven communicator with technical and non-technical audiences
• Process-driven and improvement-focused

Nice to Have

• Credit card valuation modelling experience
• Statistical grounding of assumptions
• Migration of models into Python
• Understanding of how valuations connect to wider business planning
