A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Valuation & Asset Management Surveyor. The role demands a Chartered Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Valuation & Asset Management Surveyor, a Chartered Surveyor with 5 years post qualification to manage activities within a valuation & asset management team including being responsible for day‑to‑‑day service delivery decisions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service. Managing the Council's property assets to maximise the value and utilisation of the portfolio. Liaise with stakeholders in a way that promotes the One Medway Council Plan and embeds our values and behaviours.

Career Progression Frameworks (CPF) have been introduced for all roles at Medway Council. These frameworks provide a mechanism for employees to take ownership of their development within their post and be rewarded accordingly. This means that the salary you will be offered will be at level A unless, based upon an assessment against the CPF criteria, you demonstrate that you are meeting the criteria of level B or C. There will be further opportunity once in post to progress from level A to B, and B to C.

Level C requires the highest level of competence and applicants would need to fully meet and demonstrate all aspects of the job profile, including qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Valuation and Asset Management Surveyor at level C. You will meet the requirements of the person specification fully and can demonstrate applied knowledge, experience and skills in this role. All elements within the person specification are essential. You will be supported through induction, probation and a supportive Performance Appraisal and Career Conversation, which can include identifying and supporting the achievement of professional goals.
