Job summary
As our Senior Transformation Project Manager, you will:
- Lead complex transformation programmes ensuring they deliver real, measurable improvements.
- Drive digital innovation exploring, evaluating and deploying new technologies that enhance patient pathways, clinical workflows and operational efficiency.
- Work in collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, from clinical leads to commissioners and system partners.
- Bring structure, clarity and momentum to challenging projects, identifying problems early and developing creative, pragmatic solutions.
Key attributes
- Extensive knowledge of NHS 111, CAS and GP Out-of-Hours services – you understand how the services operate, the pressures they face and the opportunities for improvement.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to translate complexity into actionable plans.
- Outstanding communication and relationship‑building abilities, able to influence at all levels and bring people with you.
- A flexible, proactive working approach, comfortable managing competing priorities and adapting to fast‑changing environments.
- A genuine interest in digital transformation, with experience introducing and embedding innovative technology in healthcare settings.
Main duties
- Provide high‑quality project management, including project planning, administration, risk management and reporting.
- Maintain key project documents and use the full suite of Microsoft Office tools and project management software.
- Exercise appropriate challenge (especially around non‑delivery) to managers/leads, making complex judgments and decisions regarding project management when progress is conflicting.
- Take immediate and decisive action where projects fail to meet key milestones or targeted improvement levels.
- Lead and motivate cross‑organisational teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications
- Recognised Project Management Qualification.
- Experience working in an Integrated Urgent Provider Organisation (NHS 111/GP OOH/CAS).
