Job description
Overview

Senior Systems Performance Architect is sought by this global leader in ICT development to be based at their design centre in Cambridge. The Senior Systems Performance Engineer will be spearheading advanced OS system performance, modelling and simulation for next CPU and Mobile operating system architectures. The Senior Systems Performance Architect will be responsible for identifying execution hotspots, performance metrics, software-hardware co-design and optimisation and for enhancing product performance and energy efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Having successfully completed your Masters (or equiv.) you will have extensive experience with chip performance, CPU microarchitectures, modelling, simulation and software – hardware optimisation.
  • Your background will also include a deep understanding of chip design processes and system performance modelling and simulation tools (gem5, QEMU etc.).
  • Exposure to software / hardware co-design methodologies would also be a bonus.
