Job Overview

Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker in the Swindon area on a permanent basis. The position for the Senior Support Worker will need to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person centred care to all residents.

Responsibilities
  • Experience of delivering support to a high standard within a social care setting
  • Some experience of leading individuals and teams within a residential care setting
  • Knowledge and experience of the regulatory standards
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care - or willingness to sit this
  • Understanding of Trauma Informed Care and therapeutic background; working knowledge of PACE and effective understanding of what a therapeutic placement looks like for children is advantageous or willingness to learn
  • Proven experience in working in a Senior position within a care home
  • Experience in working with adults with Learning Disabilities
Working Hours

The Senior Support Worker will be working 3 shifts usually a week, days are 14 hour shifts and sleep ins will be expected. You will also be covering 1 in 3 weekends.
