The role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead on the design and delivery of exciting projects across a wide range of sectors. You’ll take ownership of complex engineering challenges, mentor junior colleagues, and play a pivotal role in driving sustainable, forward-thinking solutions.

What you’ll do

• Lead structural design and project delivery from concept through to completion
• Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
• Oversee the preparation of calculations, models, and drawings using industry-standard software
• Ensure compliance with design codes, standards, and best practice
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the Manchester studio and Civic Engineers as a whole

• Chartered Engineer status (CEng, MIStructE, or working towards)
• 5+ years’ experience in consultancy, with proven project leadership
