Job description

As a Senior Structural Engineer with my client, you'll be involved in a variety of projects, including concrete frame, steel frame, medium to high-rise design, and refurbishment of existing structures. You'll collaborate across sectors such as residential, commercial, and industrial. Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing software like MasterSeries, Tekla, CSC Fastrak, or Strand7 for calculations and structural design.

• Preparing, detailing, and reviewing drawings, overseeing CAD Technicians in this process.

• Assisting in design quotes preparation and report writing.

• Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing work for Graduates, Engineers, and Technicians.

• Collaborating with engineers in other disciplines such as geotechnical and civil/infrastructure design.

• Attending client and project meetings to address needs, requirements, and design issues.

You:

We're seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural engineering (or equivalent), coupled with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience. Chartered status with ICE or IStructE is preferred or working towards it. Key qualifications include:

• Hands-on design experience, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Adept at working collaboratively in a team environment.
