Overview

My client, a leading and award winning civil structural outfit based in central London, require a senior or principal temporary works design engineer on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary works designs on significant sized projects for deep excavation shoring, large facade retention schemes, heavy steel propping and crane bases, amongst other bespoke temporary works designs.
• Work as part of a well established and specialist team of structural engineers.
• Design to Eurocodes and British Standards in the main structural materials.
• Support opportunities to work on significant sized projects with progression potential.

Candidate profile / Qualifications

• Analytical senior structural engineer or senior temporary works engineer seeking progression within a highly credible team.
• Strong problem solving capabilities and experience delivering temporary works designs.
• Background in designing to Eurocodes and British Standards.
• Structural engineers from different disciplines will be considered if they have relevant transferable skills.
