We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a creative, multidisciplinary structural engineering consultancy in London.

The Role

Duties Include
- Assist in the delivery of client projects on time and budget
- Work on all aspects of design for small to medium projects with minimal supervision, and support larger projects on selected technical issues
- Coordinate closely with internal teams, including sustainability and civil engineers
- Manage and instruct technicians in the production of drawings and models
- Liaise with architects, clients, and other stakeholders, attending site visits and meetings as required
- Support fee negotiations and project appointment matters where necessary
- Proactively manage your professional development, including CPD/IPD training
You will work on a wide variety of projects, including
- High-end commercial new builds
- Complex refurbishments of existing buildings
- Mass housing projects and masterplans
- Schools and educational facilities
- Architecturally distinctive private residential projects
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5+ years post-graduate experience, with at least 1 year in the UK
- Chartered (or working towards) with a professional body such as IStructE or ICE
- Experience managing smaller projects or practice management duties
- Strong technical knowledge across structural design, ideally including timber and composite materials
- Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and liaise with architects and clients
- Excellent project management skills: time, cost, resources, and communication
- Open, approachable, and collaborative attitude
- Strong academic background in a relevant engineering discipline
