We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a creative, multidisciplinary structural engineering consultancy in London.

Duties Include

• Assist in the delivery of client projects on time and budget
• Work on all aspects of design for small to medium projects with minimal supervision, and support larger projects on selected technical issues
• Coordinate closely with internal teams, including sustainability and civil engineers
• Manage and instruct technicians in the production of drawings and models
• Liaise with architects, clients, and other stakeholders, attending site visits and meetings as required
• Support fee negotiations and project appointment matters where necessary
• Proactively manage your professional development, including CPD/IPD training

You will work on a wide variety of projects, including

• High-end commercial new builds
• Complex refurbishments of existing buildings
• Mass housing projects and masterplans
• Schools and educational facilities
• Architecturally distinctive private residential projects

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years post-graduate experience, with at least 1 year in the UK
• Chartered (or working towards) with a professional body such as IStructE or ICE
• Experience managing smaller projects or practice management duties
• Strong technical knowledge across structural design, ideally including timber and composite materials
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and liaise with architects and clients
• Excellent project management skills: time, cost, resources, and communication
• Open, approachable, and collaborative attitude
• Strong academic background in a relevant engineering discipline
