About the Role:Our client is currently seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join their expanding team in Bristol. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and extensions across various sectors such as residential, commercial, health, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare reports, designs, and drawings for building control submission.
Conduct structural calculations and select appropriate construction materials.
Provide technical advice and support to project teams.
Liaise with architects, M&E engineers, clients, and project managers.
Monitor and inspect work undertaken by contractors and administer contracts.
Manage projects and resources effectively.
Inspect buildings to assess structural condition and foundations.
General Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
Undertake any additional duties as required by the company.
Person Specification:
Knowledge / Experience / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of design office experience in structural engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT preferred but not essential.
