A healthcare trust in Wolverhampton is seeking a Senior Strategic Procurement Manager to lead contract management and support a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, along with a Level 6 CIPS qualification or BSc in a relevant field. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of high-value contracts and providing guidance to team members. This role requires excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and it welcomes candidates committed to equality and merit-based appointments.
This post sits in the Strategic Procurement clinical contract team and is primarily based at the Royal Stoke University Hospital site, reporting to the Head of Procurement - Strategic Sourcing & Special Projects. The role is directly responsible for a portfolio of contracts but primarily for managing, supporting and guiding the work of 4 staff based at the Royal Stoke site, each with their own clinical / medical contract portfolios.
