A major healthcare provider in Glasgow is seeking a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse for Ward 3B. This full-time position requires a registered nurse at degree level, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute paediatric setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and will manage ward activities in the absence of the ward manager. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse Ward 3B
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ward 3B for x2 Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse full time positions .
The shift patter for this post will be Rotational, dayshift and night shift over7 days.
The successful candidate should be a RCN at degree level (or working towards this) and have a minimum of 3 years clinical experience within an acute paediatric setting.
You should demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the MDT team and will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.
In the absence of the ward manager you would have the continuing responsibility for the management of a ward area including supervision and deployment of staff and maintaining the flow of the patients through the department.
You will be expected to frequently participate in ward co-ordination, assist in the management of nurse staffing, bed management issues and incident reporting and communicate changes to the hospital clinical co-ordinator. Assist the Ward Manager in the management of sickness leave, annual leave, staff support, staff appraisals and compiling of duty rotas.
