Job description

Overview

We are looking for Theatre Practitioners - both Nurses (Adult or Paediatric) and ODPs to join our welcoming and dynamic Theatre Scrub Team. We have positions available for different specialties and are seeking Scrub Practitioners who wish to step up to the next level in their career and have an interest in working with children while undergoing surgery. Previous experience within Paediatric Surgery is desirable but not essential, as you will be given training and support by the Perioperative Team to develop new skills for the paediatric setting. An expert Practice Education Team supports the Peri-operative Team to help teach, develop, and strengthen these skills for ongoing professional development.

GOSH runs a 24-hour emergency theatre service 7 days a week; therefore, there are several shift patterns to cover, including Early, Late, Early Late, and On Call and Night shifts with defined response times.
