Location: Birmingham, UK

Salary: £35,400 to £51,059 Annually

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

What you will do
  • Deliver high-standard, compassionate nursing care to patients in our 6‑bedded Critical Care Unit.
  • Work closely with leading consultants to provide care for post‑operative patients from specialties such as Cardiothoracic Surgery, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Neuro and Spinal Surgery, and Colorectal Robotic Surgery.
  • Take charge of and lead shifts with confidence and expertise, supporting junior colleagues in the process.
  • Collaborate with a tight‑knit team of experienced ITU nurses, fostering an environment of trust, fairness, and teamwork.
  • Uphold high clinical standards and provide leadership in complex cases, drawing from your background in a Cardiac ITU setting.
About you
  • You possess NMC Registration as a qualified nurse in the UK.
  • You have experience in Cardiac ITU and are comfortable managing high‑acuity patients.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership skills with in‑charge experience in critical care.
  • Your extensive background in Critical Care ideally spans multiple specialties.
  • You have completed a Critical Care Course with 60 ITU credits.
