Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Brighton is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join their Oncology department on a part-time, bank basis. Job description

Senior Staff Nurse - Oncology (Bank) Brighton Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Part Time
Up to £26.00 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Have a completed UKONS SACT passport.
• Be proficient in cannulation and venepuncture and able to access CVAD's.
• Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring.
• Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be.
• Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient’s needs.
• Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students.
• Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training.

Qualifications and experience

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC) and hold the relevant qualifications and experience.
