Job description

Provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) input to adults with acquired brain injury (ABI) within Bio‑Psycho‑Social rehabilitation model. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support communication and swallowing needs, enhance quality of life, and promote recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive SaLT assessments and evidence‑based interventions for communication and swallowing (dysphagia) needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and management plans.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff, families, and communication partners.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to service development.
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external professionals and family members.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Experience (minimum 18 months) in neurology or acquired brain injury settings.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
