To provide NOUS diagnostics to patients on behalf of the company whilst adhering to the highest quality standards of ultrasound Practice patient care, in accordance with company standards, procedures and protocols.
Accountable to: Head of Operations
The employee will be expected to provide a comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound reporting service to a range of clients and in agreed locations.
The employee will enjoy terms based on the agreed Terms and Conditions as outlined in the Diagnostic World practicing privileges contract.
Diagnostic World requires all employees to have and maintain full registration with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and to fulfil the duties and responsibilities of a healthcare professional as laid out by the HPC and the United Kingdom Association of Sonographers (UKAS).
Diagnostic World requires the employee to provide the appropriate level of indemnity insurance cover for the work undertaken on behalf of the company.
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, DBS and occupational health clearance being obtained.
The appointment is exempt from the provisions of Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 by virtue of the Rehabilitation Act 1974 (Exemptions) Order 1975. Employees are not entitled therefore to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are 'spent' under the provision of the Act, and in the event of employing any failure to disclose such convictions could result in the termination of employment.
