Job Overview

Engineering – PoS Engineering, Permanent, Hybrid. This hybrid role requires you to come to our Manchester office 2‑3 days a week, with up to 120 days of remote work from abroad annually.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run scalable backend systems using Kotlin and AWS.
• Contribute to technical direction, team practices and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers and other engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and help bar.
• Own your team’s code, quality and delivery.
• Take part in the full SDLC, including operating your own services in production.
• Write well‑tested, clean code.
• Make smart trade‑offs between speed, quality and risk to deliver customer value quickly.
