Job summary

A pioneering insurance technology firm in Greater London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain robust web-based applications. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team and focus on developing Kotlin-based services. Candidates should possess strong software engineering principles and experience with server-side languages like C# .NET or JVM-based technologies. Experience in agile teams, preferably in the financial or insurtech sectors, is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Professional experience with a server-side language, ideally C# .NET or JVM based.
• Experience as a senior level engineer working across a modern web stack.
• Experience working in agile teams, following Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Build robust and scalable software for business critical, web-based applications.
• Develop new functionality in core Kotlin based services.
• Mentor and coach colleagues in both engineering and business domain subjects.
