Senior Vehicle Service Advisor required in Salisbury
Our client, a large franchise‑approved car dealer group situated throughout South West England, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Service Advisor to join their premium dealership in Salisbury.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and helping oversee 3 other Service Advisors, as a Senior Service Advisor, you’ll be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and care. You’ll lead by example, helping to drive service profitability through expert communication, accurate documentation, and a proactive approach to upselling additional products and services. Supporting the Aftersales Manager, you’ll also play an important part in mentoring and motivating the service team to meet departmental targets and maintain high standards across all touchpoints. Working closely with the workshop, parts, and sales teams, you’ll ensure smooth internal processes and deliver an exceptional end‑to‑end customer experience.
The successful Service Advisor would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and DMS systems (Pinewood Pinnacle and eDynamix preferred), would be of high priority. At least one to two years of current or recent experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor within a franchise‑approved automotive dealership would be desirable; however, they have said they're willing to consider Advisors outside the motor trade, provided they have a full clean UK driving license with minimal points and a strong track record in a similar customer service‑oriented position.
