45,000 per annum + Profit Related Annual Bonus + Excellent Benefits Package

Role Overview

As the Senior SEO Specialist, reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will own and drive the organic search strategy, ensuring that all digital content performs at its peak. Your expertise will guide our client's SEO efforts, aligning them with marketing and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SEO Strategy: Plan and execute innovative SEO strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
• Keyword Research & optimisation: Conduct comprehensive keyword research and optimise metadata, headings, and content structure.
• Content Development: Create SEO-driven content plans that enhance product awareness and lead generation.
• Landing Pages & On-site Copy: Design and optimise landing pages, knowledge resources, and engaging blog articles.
• Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and credibility.
• Content Refinement: Continuously improve existing content for better visibility and engagement.
• Best practises: Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practises and aligns with brand messaging.
• Technical Collaboration: Partner with external agencies and developers to maintain a robust, accessible website.
• Backlink Acquisition: Support backlink strategies through outreach and industry engagement.
• Performance Monitoring: analyse SEO performance, providing actionable insights for continual improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present updates and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Team Education: Educate team members on SEO best practises and strategies.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of algorithm updates, trends, and AI developments in SEO.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented SEO Specialist with a strategic mindset. You'll thrive in an autonomous role while collaborating closely with the marketing team.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of on‑page, technical, and content SEO.
• Proficient in tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to create high‑quality SEO content independently.
• Experience with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
• Strong organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise SEO activities.
• Confident communicator, able to present insights and educate colleagues on SEO.
• Awareness of AI's impact on SEO and the ability to apply emerging practises responsibly.
• Experience in B2B or technical sectors is a plus.
• Desirable: Experience in international or multilingual SEO. Working knowledge of HTML and experience within manufacturing, engineering industries (advantageous but not essential).
