• Proven experience as a Security Systems Engineer / Senior Security Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
• Familiarity with SSAIB / NSI accreditation schemes.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Carry out site surveys, quotations, and proposals for new installations.

Overview

Senior Security Engineer CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms

Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: GBP40,000 GBP47,500 (up to GBP50,000 DOE) + Overtime + Bonus + Company Van

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
• Manage end–to–end security projects from survey to handover
• Carry out site surveys, quotations, and proposals for new installations and takeovers
• Provide fault finding, upgrades, and planned preventative maintenance
• Cover occasional emergency callouts (1 in 8 weeks)
• Work alongside our fire installation team on larger projects
• Ensure compliance with SSAIB / NSI accreditation standards
• Shape and grow the security division with marketing and leadership support
• Transition into a full–time management role as the department expands

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Systems Engineer / Senior Security Engineer

• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms

• Familiarity with SSAIB / NSI accreditation schemes

• Excellent communication and client–facing skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• GBP40,000 GBP47,500 basic (up to GBP50k DOE)

• Overtime: 1.5x (Saturday), 2x (Sunday)
