University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with us. This vacancy is within the Clinical Research Facility for a Band 7 Senior Research Sister in the adult team.

Overview

We currently have a vacancy for a Band 7 Senior Research Sister in the adult team. This is a pivotal role overseeing the management of the diverse portfolio of research studies, including neurodegenerative studies, complex CTIMPs, and phase 1 studies requiring overnight stays to ensure optimal delivery of studies in the adult portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of the diverse portfolio of research studies, including neurodegenerative studies, complex CTIMPs and phase 1 studies requiring overnight stays to ensure optimal delivery of studies in the adult portfolio.
  • Provide professional, operational, and clinical leadership and management of research staff and members of the multi-disciplinary team, acting as a role model, providing specialist clinical and research advice with responsibility for clinical service, delivery staff, and research governance issues.
