- Base: Hybrid (London or Leeds or Manchester or Birmingham) - our colleague will need to live within commutable distance of any of these locations for this role.

Job Purpose
Senior Relationship Manager - Inclusion and Diversity Job Description
This role plays a critical part in building and strengthening member relationships by driving satisfaction, retention and engagement. The Senior Relationship Manager will develop a strong understanding of each member's needs and goals, providing tailored inclusion and diversity support. By identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services, they will deepen relationships and contribute to the company's sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Support and Account Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of cross-sector member organisations by providing high-quality, ongoing support across the full spectrum of their inclusion and diversity activities. This includes responding to member queries, offering expert advice, reviewing policies, and researching and sharing best practices.
- Build Relationships: Develop and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with member organisations through a clear understanding of their unique business context, inclusion maturity, strategic goals, and inclusion challenges. Become a valued advisor and key point of contact.
- Membership Renewal and Upselling: Drive member retention and revenue growth by securing membership renewals and promoting additional Inclusive Employers products and services that align with each member's needs.
- Generate New Growth: Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities to expand our membership base, grow client networks, and enhance our portfolio of inclusion-focused products and services.
- Performance Metrics: Work to defined targets and KPIs, including member retention rates, client satisfaction, and revenue generation through upselling and cross-selling.
- Innovate and Thought Leadership: Collaborate within a small, dynamic team to share insights, generate new ideas, and contribute to thought leadership in inclusion and diversity. Help evolve our consultancy approach by identifying emerging trends and proposing innovative solutions.

Requirements
Person specification
We are looking for a motivated and energised individual who can add value to our team. This is a team with a proven track record of supporting our members with wide-ranging inclusion interventions and contributing to positive cultural development. If you have proven experience of the following key requirements, we would like to hear from you:
- Extensive Inclusion and Diversity experience within a commercial organisation in a primary role (in-house or consultancy)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of inclusion and diversity issues, with the ability to facilitate meaningful discussions credibly around challenges and best practices
- Demonstrable account management experience, ideally in a membership-based environment, with the ability to develop rapport and build strong business relationships
- Proven track record of achieving sales or growth targets, including upselling, cross-selling, and renewals, in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to manage a high-volume portfolio with attention to detail
- Commercial awareness to identify opportunities that create value for both the client and the business
General skills
- Comfort with data and reporting, including tracking KPIs and using CRM systems (HubSpot desirable)
- Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010
- Understanding of inclusive best practices
