Senior Reinsurance Political Violence Broker

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Regions Covered: UK, Middle East, LATAM & Africa

Overview:
My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Reinsurance Political Violence Broker. This is a client-facing, production-focused role ideal for someone with deep expertise in facultative (FAC) reinsurance and strong relationships across the Lloyd’s and London markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Produce and develop new political violence and terrorism reinsurance business across UK, Middle East, LATAM, and African territories.
  2. Manage and grow existing client relationships, delivering tailored solutions and best-in-class service.
  3. Successfully place international risks into the Lloyd’s and London markets.
  4. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, underwriters, and clients to structure complex reinsurance programmes.
  5. Represent the company at client meetings, market presentations, and industry events, with travel as required.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in reinsurance broking, with a strong focus on facultative (FAC) placements.
  2. Proven expertise in political violence and terrorism lines of business.
  3. Established network within the Lloyd’s and London markets.
  4. A driven self-starter with excellent client management and communication skills.
  5. Ability and willingness to travel internationally.
