Ready to enhance training standards across regions? As a Senior Regional Training Officer, you'll play a key role in developing team skills, supporting compliance, and ensuring Swissport's training goals are achieved at every station. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with a solid training background, strong people skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.

  • Training Delivery & Compliance: Conduct classroom and practical training sessions to support employee skill development. Ensure all training aligns with Swissport policies and regulatory standards.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Guide and mentor Regional Training Officers (RTOs) to meet local and regional training requirements. Manage absence processes, conduct performance reviews, and hold regular one‑on‑one check‑ins.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee training quality through regular observations and audits. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance with safety, quality, and PPE standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with customers, internal teams, and third parties to ensure alignment on training programs and requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements in training delivery. Support your Regional Training Manager (RTM) by taking on key tasks as needed, including deputizing where applicable.
  • Training & Development Expertise: Demonstrable experience in leading training programs within regulated environments, ideally in aviation or other fast‑paced industries.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong experience in team supervision, with the ability to coach and guide others while maintaining a high level of compliance.
  • Analytical & Process‑Driven: Proficient in Microsoft applications with a solid understanding of training data and reporting. Able to use data to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Safety & Compliance Focus: Familiar with health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to training. Committed to maintaining a safe and productive environment for all trainees and trainers.
