Senior Recovery Nurse (Band 6) – Ophthalmology Theatres

Location: Eye Treatment Centre, Whipps Cross Hospital

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated Senior Recovery Nurse to join our Ophthalmology Theatres team. If you’re a registered nurse with recovery experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care, we want to hear from you!

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and coach nursing staff
  • Deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced theatre environment
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain the highest standards of care for our patients
Main duties of the job
  • Establish, lead and maintain high standards of pre-/peri- and post-operative clinical care
  • Coordinate clinical activities and develop clinical expertise through leadership
  • Undertake teaching and training of both trained and untrained staff
  • Develop management skills and undertake management duties as directed by the Senior Sister
  • Participate on-call for the unit
