Job description
Overview

Rotational Senior Radiographer (Band 6) for Core Services Plain X-ray, CT and possible rotation to MRI. This position is based at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, in the City of London - St. Paul’s. The role offers a supportive Radiography team, with opportunities for continuous professional development guided by clinical leads.

Join Europe’s largest specialised cardiovascular centre, with access to the Barts Heart Centre. The post holder will work closely with clinical, radiographic and managerial teams to provide high quality imaging services across General and A&E x-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres and CT, with the possibility of MRI rotation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality, effective Imaging services across a wide range of services supported by Imaging, including General and A&E x-ray, fluoroscopy, theatres and CT.
  • Potentially rotate to MRI as part of the role.
  • Work closely with Radiographers, students and clinical staff of all grades to deliver safe, prompt and effective imaging.
  • Demonstrate leadership and clinical supervision skills as part of a resilient and flexible team.
  • Support ongoing service improvement and contribute to a 24/7, 365-day service delivery model.
Qualifications
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or the Diploma of the College of Radiographers.
  • HCPC registration.
