Job description
Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Aviation Projects (London Airports) – Up to £70,000 per annum + benefits. Hybrid working: 3 days on-site, 1 day in London office, 1 day from home.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major aviation projects across London’s airports. This is a great opportunity to be involved in complex, large-scale programmes including new terminals, terminal upgrades, and significant M&E schemes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services across multiple aviation projects

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents

  • Administer contracts and manage change, with a focus on NEC and JCT forms

  • Lead on cost management, value engineering, and commercial reporting

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure financial control and successful delivery

About you
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at senior level within aviation, infrastructure, or complex building projects (aviation experience desirable but not essential)

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts

  • Skilled in cost planning, contract administration, and commercial management

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects within live operational environments
