Overview

Our client is a reputable and dynamic Specialist Property Developer with a track record of delivering high value residential and commercial schemes throughout the UK. They require an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their Delivery team on a circa £35M Fifteen Storey Block Residential Tower development project in Bristol. The role is on site until 2027 and is a fixed-term assignment to drive the project through to completion over the next 18 months, coordinating with the client, design team and supply chain through to agreement of Final Account.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the client, design team and supply chain throughout the life cycle of the scheme through to agreement of Final Account.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Ability to read drawings and understand works specifications.
  • Minimum of 10 years with a recognised commercial building/sub-contractor, ideally as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • Able to effectively procure and place specialist sub-contract works packages.
  • Ability to minimise risk to margin and achieve project milestones against contractual payment clauses.
  • Understanding of an effective change management and variation control strategy.
  • Engagement with and commercial management of local supply chain.
Contract Details
  • Fixed term role on a minimum 18–24 month project starting November 2025.
  • Competitive base salary and remuneration package, dependant on experience.
  • Location: Bristol; on-site project delivery.
