Qualifications

• Experience in the construction/water industries.
• Knowledge of IChemE and NEC forms of contract.
• Experience in commercial management & Quantity Surveying.
• Proven experience in monthly forecasting and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting.
• Cost management and project forecasting.
• Drafting and updating monthly CVRs and commercial plans.
• Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and financial accounting.
• Preparation of project applications for payment.
• Liaison with clients on commercial issues.
• Managing contract and subcontract agreements.
• Supporting internal commercial processes.

Skills

Experience in the construction/water industries

Knowledge of IChemE and NEC forms of contract

Experience in commercial management & Quantity Surveying

Proven experience in monthly forecasting and cost analysis

Education

Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying

Responsibilities

• Provision of accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels
• Cost management and project forecasting
• Drafting and updating monthly CVRs, cost and commercial plans
• Subcontract procurement, negotiation, and financial accounting
• Preparation of project applications for payment to final account settlement
• Liaison with clients and third parties on commercial issues
• Managing contract and subcontract agreements, primarily IChemE and NEC forms
• Supporting internal commercial processes

Job Requirements

• Experience in the construction / water industries
• Knowledge of IChemE and NEC forms of contract
• Experience in commercial management & Quantity Surveying
• Proven experience in monthly forecasting and cost analysis

Desirable

• Membership of RICS or similar professional body
• CSCS card
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
• Experience managing or mentoring team members
