Senior Quality Auditor

Location: Moreton (Wirral), GB

Working Hours: Monday to Friday Days - 39hrs

The main purpose of the role is to support the Quality Audit Manager in leading the quality team to ensure the quality and food safety systems programme is managed and adhered to as per regulatory, corporate and customer requirements. You will also identify, champion and drive a culture of continuous improvement in quality standards and processes within the quality department and across site.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensure compliance of the site’s Food Safety and Quality management system to Premier Foods Manufacturing standard, BRCGS, Mondelez , Customer requirements and any other requirements as relevant.
  • issuing tasks to the QA team to ensure that planned duties, are conducted on time and in full across all shifts.
  • ensuring that relevant documentation and databases are updated and maintained in full.
  • Support incidents and non-conforming products/processes as they arise, conduct investigations into root causes and drive actions that may be required.
  • Conduct compliance audits and inspection of processes and standards.

Do you offer?

  • Minimum Level 3 HACCP and Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification
  • Certified internal auditor with proven experience
  • Proven experience of QA, ideally in food manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of BRCGS and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven continuous improvement experience
  • Leadership skills along with the ability to work on own initiative and to short term demands.
  • Highly computer literate in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP.
