Job summary

A mental health organization in Brough is seeking a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to deliver high-quality mental health support within the criminal justice system. This role involves managing referrals, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have postgraduate training, excellent communication skills, and experience delivering IAPT low-intensity interventions. Qualifications

  • Experience delivering IAPT low-intensity interventions at Step 2.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in a relevant environment.
  • Ability to build therapeutic relationships in a non-discriminatory manner.

Responsibilities

  • Manage referrals and assess suitability for services.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for continuity of care.
  • Monitor performance and contribute to service improvements.

Skills

Qualified PWP – postgraduate training
PWP accreditation with BABCP or BPS
Experience in a supervisory role
Proficiency in assessment, screening, referral
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical skills: Microsoft Office and clinical record systems
