Job Summary

The post-holder will work within Central Cheshire NHS Talking Therapies service providing high volume, low intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based guided self‑help interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.

They will work with people of different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and shall be committed to equal opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision / case management to psychological wellbeing practitioners within the service.
• Support the Step 2 Lead and Management Team in maintaining service provision, development and meeting Key Performance Indicators.
• Be flexible in working hours as the service operates 8.00 am – 8.00 pm.
• Attend and contribute to the Preparation to Care (P2C) induction programme (up to 3 weeks training).
• Support the delivery of low intensity interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.

Training and Support

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with the P2C induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction/initial training requirements of the role.
