Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Finance Systems

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Alderley Edge or Edinburgh

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering change to our Accounting and Actuarial systems to support the Group strategy. You will ensure that business outcomes are clearly understood and solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will oversee the planning and delivery of the entire change lifecycle for projects involving both Business and Technical changes.

About the role

• Manage complex change initiatives across multiple lines of business.
• Link financial or actuarial system changes to upstream projects.
• Support Finance in planning and shaping solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues during projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement by streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.

About you

• Experience with projects involving finance systems, understanding technical actuarial and financial terminology.
• Experience in release management, especially around the six-monthly actuarial release plan.
• Desirable experience in data migration across multiple projects.
• Proficiency with planning tools and financial control frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence change and collaborate effectively.
• Life and Pensions experience is a plus but not essential.
