Overview

Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager? Are you between assignments and looking for a placement? We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to deliver the Shirehall and HMAG capital projects on behalf of Herefordshire Council. This high-profile role requires proven experience in managing large, complex construction projects, ideally with heritage buildings, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders and funding groups. Responsibilities
  • Leading project delivery, ensuring timely completion, budget control, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Act as the Council's representative with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Manage heritage-specific requirements and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide clear updates and reports to the Council and funding partners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects.
  • Heritage building project experience highly desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Relevant construction-related qualifications preferred.
Role Details
  • Contract: Fixed-term contract (FTC) basis, 26 weeks.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (37 hours per week).
  • Pay: £67.71 per hour.
